Eight institutions printed under the Sichuan Province (四川省) header of the Ministry of Education's national list are on the second-round Double First-Class list, counting the entries of the annex. Counting by the place (所在地) given in the national list, seven of the eight are in Chengdu (成都市) and one is in Ya'an (雅安市). This page sets out each entry with its place and the disciplines the annex prints, and this directory's section page lists universities by province.
The list is annex 1 to the notice of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance and the National Development and Reform Commission, issued as 教研函〔2022〕1号 and dated 9 February 2022. The notice's annex 2 is a separate list of first-round disciplines given a public warning, and this page does not cover it. The English names of institutions and disciplines on this page are this directory's renderings; the official lists are in Chinese, and the English on this page is this site's translation of the Chinese text.
The header line and the count
The national list of regular higher education institutions, as of 17 June 2026, prints the header 四川省（146所） for Sichuan Province. Counting the rows of the list under this header, 60 are at undergraduate level (本科). Counting the entries of the annex, eight belong to institutions printed under this header.
The eight entries
The table follows the order of the annex, which is the order of school codes. That order is not a ranking.

The annex prints no place for any entry. The place in the table comes from the 所在地 column of attachment 1 to the national list. In each of the eight rows of that attachment, the remark column (备注) is blank.
Using the list
The national list's attachment 1 has seven columns: 序号, 学校名称, 学校标识码, 主管部门, 所在地, 办学层次 and 备注. None of these columns records a ranking or a Double First-Class label.
Being on the Double First-Class list does not show that a university enrols international students in a given programme. For tuition, deadlines, entry requirements and the programmes open to international students, check each university's own admission prospectus.
To check an entry:
- Open the notice of 9 February 2022 and find annex 1.
- Find the institution's Chinese name in the annex.
- Open the national list of 17 June 2026 and find the 四川省 header.
- Read the 所在地 column for the institution's place.

Which list do these eight entries come from?
They come from annex 1 to the notice 教研函〔2022〕1号 of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance and the National Development and Reform Commission, dated 9 February 2022. The annex is titled 第二轮“双一流”建设高校及建设学科名单, the second-round list of Double First-Class construction universities and disciplines, and it is printed in order of school codes.
Where does the place of each university come from?
The place comes from the 所在地 column of attachment 1 to the Ministry of Education's national list of regular higher education institutions, as of 17 June 2026. The annex does not print a place for any entry.
What does each annex entry print?
Each annex entry prints the institution's Chinese name, a colon, and the disciplines of that institution in Chinese. The annex is ordered by school code.
