The second-round Double First-Class annex prints institutions for seven disciplines that this directory groups under economics, business and management. The institutions for each discipline are listed below, with the Chinese name as printed and the English name this directory uses. The grouping of these seven disciplines is this site's, not the Ministry's. The official documents are in Chinese. The English names of institutions and disciplines on this page are this directory's renderings, not official translations, and the English text on this page is this site's translation of the Chinese text.

The list and its date

The source is annex 1 to the notice numbered 教研函〔2022〕1号, dated 9 February 2022 and issued by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance and the National Development and Reform Commission. Paragraph 1 of the notice says the list was determined by an expert committee, studied by the three ministries and submitted to the State Council for approval.

Counting the entries of the annex, it names 147 institutions. Two of them, Peking University and Tsinghua University, have no disciplines printed in the annex. Paragraph 2 of the notice says these two universities determine their own construction disciplines and publish them themselves. Their absence from the rows below therefore says nothing about what they teach. Their directory pages are Peking University and Tsinghua University.

Does the annex print disciplines for Peking University or Tsinghua University?

The annex prints no disciplines for either university. Paragraph 2 of the notice of 9 February 2022 says that Peking University and Tsinghua University determine their own construction disciplines and publish them themselves.
